This was riverman's tougue in cheek reply to Scott Wilkinson's personal note accidentally posted to RBP on 02-23-99. I got a chuckle out of it and thought folks might enjoy it.

Hi Mike:

Long time no hear. Just thought I'd take a minute from my boring day and send you a personal letter. I spend a lot of time reading posts on Rec.boats.paddle, and it made me think of all those days we spent on river trips...what fun those days were!

I know we promised to never talk about it again, but I can't stop thinking of that time we ripped off that liquor store and made out getaway on the river! What a gas, no one EVER knew it was us! Or what about the time we kidnapped that kid and sold him to the Mexicans as a white slave? Made a ton of money on that, too!

Right now, I'm sitting here in my underwear, big old fat belly hanging out (it IS winter, you know). I gotta start doing sit-ups, but I really hate them. Ah well, age catches up with all of us. I hope no one ever guesses that I'm *really* only 22, I just look like such hell because of all the Heroin I've done while I was in prison.

Anyway, I know these are deep dark secrets, but no worrys, mate. I'll *never* tell anyone about the stuff we've done! Be sure to erase this personal letter when you've finished reading it.
